Freeview aerial installation

To access all Freeview channels and services you will need a TV aerial or satellite dish to connect Freeview to your television.

TV aerial installation services will include going up on the roof to assess the Freeview line of sight to determine the best aerial point to ensure your Freeview reception is of the highest quality. This will help to improve picture quality and give you access to more channels and freeview services.

We only use top quality, high-efficiency TV aerials that can withstand harsh weather conditions and provide a Freeview signal, in some cases you may need to upgrade an existing aerial.

How much does it cost to install a new TV aerial UK?

Our Freeview aerial installation cost depend on the type of Freeview aerial you require and the complexity of the installation.

On average, Freeview installation costs around £100-£150 in the UK for a basic Freeview setup.

How do I get Freeview on my smart TV without an aerial?

It is possible to get Freeview without an aerial if your smart TV has Freeview Play or YouView built-in, Freeview Play gives you access to catch up services such as BBC iPlayer and All 4, however please note that Freeview on smart TVs does not provide access to Freeview HD channels.

How do I get Freeview with indoor aerial?

If you want Freeview in multiple rooms, you can install Freeview with an indoor aerial. Indoor aerials are designed to be used inside and will provide Freeview reception in any room where there is good signal strength. Please note that Freeview installation with an indoor aerial may not always provide Freeview HD channels.

Digital Freeview boxes

To access all Freeview channels and sevices you will need a Freeview set top box.

The box is connected to your digital tv, smart tv or home cinema and will give you access to all Freeview channels such as BBC Iplayer and many streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Now TV.

Freeview boxes will also allow you to pause and rewind live tv, so you never miss a moment of your favourite show or movie.
