Felling Support Scheme
On 18 September 2023, the Felling relay transmitter will close as a result of demolition. A small number of households who receive their signal directly from the transmitter may lose services once the transmitter closes.
The BBC and Freeview have a set up a support scheme” to help affected viewers. Eligible viewers will receive support from one of our approved installers who will repoint aerials from affected households to an alternative transmitter.
If you have contacted the Freeview advice line and are eligible for support, you will have been directed to this website and provided with a “Freeview Reference Number.” Please complete the webform below with your details including the Freeview Reference Number to request a visit from one of our approved installers who will be in touch soon to arrange your visit.
During the visit, the installer will try to repoint your aerial to an alternative transmitter. The support scheme covers the cost of the aerial repointing only. Any other services, work or materials needed or requested from the installer will need to be arranged and paid for by you to the installer directly and will not be funded by the support scheme.
If you have not been directed to this website by the Freeview Advice Line and wish to find out more, please visit the Freeview website service update or call Freeview or contact the Freeview advice line for further support on 03456 50 50 50 after the 18th September. Their phone lines are open from Monday through to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm.
