TV Aerials

A TV Aerial will provide the tool for you to access digital TV channels best known as Freeview which can be delivered via a TV or set-top box.  If you receive these channels via Sky or Freesat then an aerial is not required.

It is recommended that you keep your TV aerial as this is a service you may want to access in the future, when you sell or move out or as a back up if for some reason you are not able to use your satellite service – you can plug in your aerial and you will have access to the Freeview channels.  Using an aerial solution, also makes it easier for you to route a signal into another room – so therefore you could use your aerial in addition to your satellite service.

It is unlikely you will be able to install an aerial yourself or repair if there is a fault and it is recommended getting in touch with an Approved Aerial Installer to complete any installations or repairs or even extensions in to other rooms for you.
